Bobby Davis

Sporting an Elvis-esque look, Davis was the original manager of champions in WWE (then Capitol Wrestling Corporation and World Wide Wrestling Federation), most notably Buddy Rogers, the first WWE Champion. Other charges included Buddy Rogers, Johnny Valentine, Dr. Bill Miller, "Handsome" Johnny Barend, The Magnificent Maurice, Graham Brothers, The Beast and Prince Iaukea. Davis also laced them up occasionally, battling fellow manager "Wild" Red Berry and participating in tag matches along with The Beast and Prince Iaukea. He was a heat magnet and his influence could be seen in Bobby Heenan, who Dick The Bruiser would name after Davis. Despite being unknown to later generations, he is seen as one of the greatest managers ever.
