Velvet McIntyre

Before the Lass Kicker, there was Velvet McIntyre. Agile and athletic, McIntyre was a notable high flier. She joined the WWF in 1982, teaming with Princess Victoria and battling the team of The Fabulous Moolah and Wendi Richter. They would also frequently battle the team of Wendi Richter and Peggy Lee. In 1984 McIntyre and Victoria were recognized as WWF Women's Tag Team Champions after the WWF withdrew the NWA. However, Desiree Petersen would end up replacing Victoria and the new pair ended up losing the titles to the team of Leilani Kai and Judy Martin.

McIntyre entered the singles ranks in 1986, often competing for the WWF Women's Title. She first feuded with The Fabulous Moolah, often losing including a controversial loss at WrestleMania II. She eventually won the title on July 5, 1986 during a tour of Australia. When Sensational Sherri came into the WWF fold in 1987, McIntyre was a frequent challenger though she failed to come away with the title. By 1990 the WWF Women's Division was dead and McIntyre left the promotion, going on to work the independent circuits.
